ridgemill estate has been crafting award-winning wines since 2004 under the expertise of one of the region's best winemakers, Peter McGlashan.
During your visit, our knowledgeable staff will take you on a journey through the vineyard, explaining the cultivation and harvesting techniques, crucial in producing our exceptional wines.
Depending on the day you visit, you maybe picking grapes, helping plunge grape skins in our open ferment vats or witnessing the viticulture team’s labour of love as they take on a grape crush!
Throughout this guided experience, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, engage with our passionate team and deepen your understanding and appreciation of the winemaking process.
The guided harvest immersion experience includes:
Vineyard walk and educational experience
Tour of wine production spaceÂ
Grape picking experience (depending on schedule)
Observation of grape crushing activities (depending on schedule)
Plunging of red wines under fermentation (depending on schedule)
Complimentary wine tasting in our cellar door.

I went to my first winery while in Stanthorpe. We chose ridgemill estate .
We did a tour of the winery and were shown the process of wine making from the vine to the finished product. It was a great experience and I would totally recommend this place to visit.
A few nice bottles of wine came home with us as well.
