The region’s high elevation, minimal light pollution and cool climate combine to create crystal clear skies. The night sky comes alive with stars, planets and deep sky sights — perfect for telescope viewing and sky tours.

Do I need to bring a telescope?
No – multiple telescopes will be set up by local astronomy enthusiasts.
Do I need to bring a chair?
Yes you can bring a chair or a picnic rug if you like but we will have seating available.
What if it rains?
We’ll keep a close eye on the forecast and notify guests of any changes due to weather by 12:00 midday on the day of the event. If the evening is cancelled, you’ll receive a full refund
What if my plans change — can I get a refund?
We understand that plans can change! To receive a full refund, please let us know at least 48 hours before the event. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected]

ridgemill estate reserves the right to cancel at any time depending on inclement weather and local fire conditions. We would provide notification to you no later than 12:00 MIDDAY on the day of your experience. In the event of a cancellation due to inclement weather, any monies paid will be refunded in full.
