After the incredible success of last year’s event, the Stanthorpe Stargazing Night returns to ridgemill estate on Saturday, 15 November 2025.

This magical evening combines award winning ridgemill estate wine with live music and breathtaking views of the night sky.

Nestled in Granite Belt Wine Country, ridgemill estate offers the perfect conditions for stargazing: high elevation, crisp country air and near zero light pollution.

It’s the ultimate backdrop for an unforgettable night under the stars.

Is the Stargazing Night family-friendly?
Yes! This event is perfect for all ages, and kids love spotting stars and planets.

Can I bring my dog to the event?
Unfortunately, no. Pets aren’t allowed so everyone can enjoy the night safely and comfortably.

Is the venue accessible?

Do I need to bring my own telescope?
No, local astronomers will provide telescopes for everyone to enjoy.

Should I bring a chair or picnic rug?
Optional! We’ll have seating available, but feel free to bring your own for extra comfort.

What happens if it rains?
We’ll notify guests by midday Saturday 15 November if the weather forces us to cancel. Full refunds apply if the event can’t go ahead.
