Strong Results Across the Range and a Standout Riesling

In the recently released 2026 Halliday Wine Companion Awards, several of our wines were awarded silver points, highlighting the depth and consistency of the range. A standout among them was the 2024 Riesling, which received an exceptional 95 points—placing it firmly among Australia’s top white wines.

The achievement reflects the Granite Belt’s distinctive cool climate terroir and the dedication of our entire team. It’s also a testament to the vision and experience of Peter McGlashan, who has led our winemaking efforts for nearly 21 years.

This recognition is a credit to our team and to Peter’s long-term commitment to crafting wines that speak honestly of the Granite Belt, said co-owner Martin Cooper.

We have a strong commitment to the future of the region with an emphasis on supporting local growers and other local suppliers. Our focus remains on small batch, minimal intervention winemaking, drawing on both classic varieties such as Riesling and Shiraz to alternative ‘Strangebird’ styles including Tempranillo and Saperavi.
